These terms apply when you use this website or book a move with Stamford Prestige Movers. Last updated October 11, 2026.

Estimates and Prices

Prices on this website are typical ranges, not quotes. Every move gets a written estimate; long-distance moves get a binding estimate. Any change is agreed in writing before we do the work.

Valuation and Claims

Basic valuation coverage is included as required by law. Full-value protection is available for an extra charge. Report any damage within nine months for interstate moves and as soon as possible for Connecticut and New York moves.

Payment

Local moves are paid on completion. Long-distance moves are paid on delivery, before unloading. We accept cards, checks and bank transfers.

Items We Can’t Move

Flammable, explosive and perishable items can’t go on our trucks. Questions? Email support@stamfordmoving.com.
